Adecco is assisting a client in Troy, Al with their search for quality Material Handler.
The Material Handler performs assigned jobs related to the storing and retrieval and shipping of parts from specific locations in the warehouse area.
Obtains merchandise from warehouse shelves to fill orders, carefully verifying information and identifying locations where parts are to be placed.
This is a second shift opportunity.
MAJOR DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
- Lifts and carries cartons weighing up to 50 lbs and manage cartons in excess of 50 lbs utilizing available safety tools.
-Places parts in proper location after identifying and verifying part numbers.
-Uses a utility cart, identifies cartons by part number, uses a computer or laptop, cart, cycle counts product, hand scanner and PC.
-Picks and files orders using a laptop computer, if applicable-Receives parts and disburses them to proper bins-Matches paperwork to box and prepares billing labels for appropriate freight forwarder.
-Performs other duties as requested, directed or assignedMINIMUM Qualifications:
-Ability to pass basic job skills assessments.
-Ability to lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50 lbs.
-Ability to manage cartons in excess of 50 lbs utilizing available safety tools.
-Minimum one year work experience.
-Thorough knowledge of the English language, reading, writing and verbal communication.
-Must be detail oriented, efficient and able to work in a fast paced environmentADDITIONAL CRITERIA:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
