CGI has an immediate need for a Mainframe Level 2 Production Support Analyst to join our financial services team in Columbia, SC or Troy, AL.

Your future duties and
Responsibilities:
Level 2 production support position is responsible to triage/resolve application issues.
Interface with other development team and/or other support teams to resolve application failures.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

years of production support experience in a 24/7 oncall model supporting Mainframe IDMS applications.
Strong knowledge of MVS/TSO, COBOL, IDMS, JCL, Mainframe Utilities, ENDEVOR, CA-7, VSAM, SORT and FTP.
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently Candidate should have prior experience with issue tracking systems, working tickets, tracking to Service Level Agreements.
Trouble-shooting production incidents requiring detailed analysis of issues in mainframe applications, CA7 batch jobs, and databases (IDMS and VSAM files)Education:
?Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required#LI-RPF#DICECGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications.
